GIGGLY ZOO · EARLY ACCESS

Help

This page explains how Giggly Zoo works, what its words mean, and how to fix common problems.

What the words mean

  • Zoo: the screen where your characters move around. Each parent account has one zoo, and only that signed-in account can open it.
  • Creation: one drawing or craft you have photographed and saved, together with its name, date, and story.
  • Cutout: the photo with its plain background removed, so only the artwork remains. This is what moves in the zoo.
  • Keepsake box: the list of every creation you have saved, with its original photo. A creation stays here even if you hide it from the zoo.
  • Bring it to life: the button that saves a creation and adds it to your zoo.

Your first creation

  1. Sign in and open your zoo on a computer or tablet.
  2. Select “Add a creation”, or scan the QR code on the zoo screen with your phone camera.
  3. Take or choose a clear photo of the drawing or craft on a plain, light background. The app removes the background in your browser. If too much or too little disappears, adjust Cutout strength, or turn off Remove background to keep the whole photo.
  4. Enter a name, choose the artist and how it moves, then select “Bring it to life”.

The new character appears in your zoo, and the original photo is saved in the keepsake box. Pip, Sprout, Milo, Lulu, and Pebble are example characters, not your artwork; you can hide them with the Example characters switch.

Photo or QR code problems

Use good light and keep the whole creation in the frame. If the cutout misses part of the creation, reduce Cutout strength or turn off Remove background to keep the whole picture. If your browser cannot open HEIC, use a JPG, PNG, or screenshot. The phone QR code lasts 15 minutes. Refresh an expired code on the computer, then scan it again. If you reload the phone page, scan the code again.

Account access

Reset your password with your recovery code. Save the replacement code afterward. You can create a fresh recovery code or change your password inside Family account. If you lose both your password and recovery code, an unverified email address alone cannot restore access.

Photos and family data

Open the Keepsake box tab and select a creation to download its original photo or delete it permanently. Family account contains the account data download, child profile controls, recovery options, and account deletion. Account deletion needs your current password and the word DELETE. If deletion fails, keep the signed-in tab open and retry it.

Send a question or feedback

This form saves a request for the project operator. It does not send an automatic email or promise an immediate reply. Do not include a child’s full name, a password, a recovery code, or private photos.

We use your email and message to handle this request. See the Privacy Notice.
